Children's Bible Clubs

One of the ministries that I am in charge of are two children's Bible clubs that take place each week on Saturday. I lead a Bible club in a part of town called Pacalito. This part of town is growing rapidly and currently there are no Bible believing churches in this area. Each Saturday we have a group of 15-20 children who come each week to our children's Bible club in Pacalito. The second Bible club is held on Saturday afternoons at our church. We have a group of around 20 children who attend this club. During our Bible clubs we play games, sing songs, listen to a Bible story and have a snack. The Bible clubs are a great way to build relationships with children and introduce them to Jesus.

Teaching Sunday School

Each Sunday I am in charge of teaching the children's Sunday School class. I have children ages 4-11 in my class. God has been bringing new people each week to our church and I have an average of 10-15 children each week in my Sunday School class. Each week we spend time singing songs, praying for the children's needs, learning from the Bible and doing a craft. I am excited to see how much the children are learning and I am praying that they will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Soccer Club

Each week we have a soccer club for boys here in Puerto Maldonado. What started out as a ministry with just a few boys has now grown to see around 20 boys each day. We have soccer club on Wednesdays and Fridays each week. Each day of soccer club we start the club by sharing a little bit of the Gospel with the boys. Most of the boys who attend our soccer club do not attend a church so this may be the only opportunity they have to hear God's Word. We then train with the boys by doing different soccer drills and at the end of our club we divide the boys into two groups and let them play a soccer game. Please continue to pray for the boys who come that they would see their need of Jesus.

Library Ministry

In February of 2019 I took on the leadership role as the director of a Christian library here in Puerto Maldonado. The library is a place where children ages 5-16 can come after school and get help with their homework. Each day during the week we have different classes and activities for the children. We have Bible class, music class, craft class, cooking class as well as a time for the children to play in a local park and watch Christian movies. The goal of the ministry is that we would be able to build relationships with children and be able to introduce them to Jesus. We have seen God working in some very interesting ways over the last couple of months and currently are averaging around 30 children each day.
